About US

We here at Souls of Christ Apostolic believe Acts 4:32

“And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which possessed was his own; but they had all things common…”

Purpose

Souls of Christ is committed to the Apostolic Doctrine: We believe in one baptism, as recorded in Acts 2:4; 10:44; 19:1-6. The new birth (being born again) through genuine repentance, water baptism, and the name of Jesus, receiving the infilling of the Holy Ghost by the evidence of speaking in other tongues, as the Spirit gives utterance.

“My Dear Brother/Sister, by the confession of your faith in the death, burial, resurrection, of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we now baptize you in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”.

Souls of Christ Vision

Our vision is to be an integral asset to the surrounding community. Our desire is to educate God’s people so that they have a personal relationship with Him and know the plans and purpose for their lives. Enable them in a natural way, empower them with the tools necessary to build better lives, and reshape their future. The resulting residual is people who have self-worth, self-esteem, positive presentation, and are affirmed in knowing who they are and to what God they belong.

Our Senior Pastor

District Elder Bessie Archie

Bessie Archie was born in Holly Grove, Arkansas. As the eldest daughter of nine siblings, she is accustomed to hard work and dedication. Bessie’s larger-than-life attitude led her to Dallas, TX, where she attended Bishop College. After completing her studies, Bessie married James L. Archie, Sr and was born three children.

In 1985, Bessie was called into the ministry under the late Pastor J.C.Boone of Holly Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX. After Pastor Boone’s passing, Bessie put on her traveling shoes and evangelized for the next thirty years. Throughout the DFW area, Bessie took the word to many people through her feeding and clothing ministry. Bessie would go out on the streets and witness to many souls that needed encouragement.

In 2009, Bessie obeyed God and started the Souls of Christ Apostolic Church out of her living room on an Easter Sunday.
